I have lived in Northeast Minneapolis since 1993 and in Minnesota since fall of 1987 (over half my life). Before moving to the state I lived in Council Bluffs, Iowa (think the Omaha area) in the same house for my whole life. I have been an independent computer contractor since 1995 doing networking, UNIX, security, and most recently, project-management of same. I am an Alcor life-extension foundation member since 1998, IEEE member, Senior Associate with the Foresight Institute, life member of the national Libertarian Party, and member of the MPRIZE "300". I am an amateur singer, spoken-word performer, party-host, and logophile. I have a strong local social constellation in the Twin Cities amid an enclave of other non-coastal fellow weirdos.
